Reserves Head Coach

Laverton Magpies Reserves team are looking to build and grow as they push for finals football. We are looking to build on our success and are seeking applicants with a strong knowledge of AFL football and coaching experience an advantage.

Key coaching objectives:

Able to develop a football game plan for on field success within the reserves team.
To manage the on-field performance of the Reserves team
To work collaboratively and professionally with the club, committee, staff and players and to ensure a positive and disciplined club culture is upheld.
To provide a supportive and respectful environment for all stakeholders.
To recruit players which align with our core values.
In conjunction with the Senior Men's Coaches, run training sessions and programs which develop the reserve players skills and fitness.

Passion for developing performance of both the players and the team.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership skills and be good at building relationships.
Sound knowledge of AFL football, game plans and strategies.
Minimum AFL Level 1 coaching accreditation (willing to obtain level 2 paid for by club).

Medical Trainers

The Laverton Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for Medical Trainers for Senior Men’s, Reserves, Senior Women’s and Juniors teams.

The club is looking to build on foundations laid in recent seasons to build long term success. The club has a long and proud history within the WRFL and wish to continue through 2023.

Reporting to team managers, coaches and executive committee of the Laverton Magpies, this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to be involved in a professional sporting environment.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following or work towards achieving:

First Aid Level 2 ERC qualification
Level 1 Sports First Aid Certificate
Working with Children Check.
Available for training nights and game days.supplies
Responsible for the ordering and maintaining of medical
Instructing players on treatments of injuries
